What WhatsApp Is For

A chat is the right next step when the buyer already chose an offer. They saw the unit, the course, or the clinic hours. They tap, and the message should carry that context. That is conversion. It is not discovery.

We put WhatsApp on the page that earned the tap. The WhatsApp guide is the how-to. This article is the argument: the button needs a page behind it.

What a Thread Cannot Do

Google cannot index last night’s chat. ChatGPT cannot quote a status. A buyer who typed your service and a place needs a URL with a heading, proof, and hours they can check without waiting for a tick.

Staff change. Phones die. Broadcast lists get limited. The page you published still answers at 11pm. If the only place the offer lives is in a chat, you do not have a website. You have a queue.

The Site Still Has to Finish the Job

Name the offer the way people search. Show proof you can stand behind. Open WhatsApp with the page already named, or keep a short form if that is how you actually reply. Load on a mid-range phone. That is web design Malaysia, not a green button on a blank splash.

A homepage that only says “WhatsApp us” wastes brand search. The buyer who typed your name deserved the service list, not another hop into an empty chat.

When Chat Is the Wrong Enquire Path

Law firms, some clinics, and many B2B buyers will not send a brief in a personal chat. A form or an email is the honest path. We will not force WhatsApp onto a page whose readers will not use it.

If you will not answer the thread the same day, do not put the button on the first screen. An unanswered chat is worse than a form that queues. Read what buyers do on a phone if the tap is the real problem.
