From First Call to Launch

Our Web Design Process for Malaysian Business Sites

The process is short on slides and long on decisions. You always know which pages we are designing, why each one exists, and what happens after go-live.

The Dated Plan

How a BigBrother Website Gets Built

We start with the job the site must do this year, not a moodboard. Discover turns your offer, competitors, and the phrases Malaysian buyers already use into a sitemap.

Design and build then happen on that sitemap. Copy, layout, HTML, schema, and speed are planned together so Google, ChatGPT, and a tired buyer can all read the same page.

Grow is not an optional extra. Measurement, search, and care stay available after launch so the site you paid for still works next year.

The Four Stages

Each stage has a job, a deliverable, and a decision. We do not skip ahead to decoration.

01

Discover

We map your offer, competitors, and the search phrases Malaysian buyers already use. That map becomes the sitemap — every page with a job: trust, answer, or convert.

You Get

  • Sitemap and page jobs
  • Search phrases the project will target
  • A dated plan for design and build

You Bring

  • What the site must do this year
  • Who the buyer is
  • Any current URL
02

Design

Wireframes first, then visual design on real content. Mobile first. Every block has a job. We do not polish empty placeholders and call it a homepage.

You Get

  • Layouts on the real sitemap
  • Copy direction for each page
  • A design you can sign off on a phone

You Bring

  • Brand files if you have them
  • One person who can approve
  • Feedback on the dated rounds
03

Build

Static, fast front-end. Clean HTML, schema, and Core Web Vitals are launch criteria, not a later project. No third-party font or script CDNs by default.

You Get

  • A staged site on the agreed pages
  • Schema and titles in the HTML
  • Speed checked on a mid-range phone

You Bring

  • Final copy and assets on schedule
  • Domain and hosting decisions
  • Sign-off before go-live
04

Grow

Launch is the start of measurement. SEO, AEO, GEO, ads, and care plans stay available. A website is a system. We stay on it if you want us to.

You Get

  • A live site you can hand to your team
  • A care option for updates and backups
  • A next list for search and content

You Bring

  • Who owns the site internally
  • Goals for the first quarter live
  • Whether ads should follow the pages

What We Need From You

A short enquiry is enough to start. Missing these is what turns a dated plan into a hope.

The Job This Year

Enquiries, store sales, or a specific offer. If the site has no job, we cannot map the pages.

The Buyer

Who decides, what they type, and what proof they need. A clinic and a factory do not share a homepage.

The Current URL

Even a weak site tells us what to keep, what to retire, and whether a rebuild is worth it.

One Approver

Design and launch stall when five people sign off. Name one owner and we keep the date.

Web Design Process Questions

Short answers on how long the process takes, what we need from you, and when search work happens.

A clear five-to-ten page site is often weeks, not months, when content and feedback stay on schedule. Larger stores, custom tools, or regulated industries take longer. We share a dated plan at kickoff so launch is a date, not a hope.
What the site must do this year, who the buyer is, and any current URL. Brand files and one named approver keep Design and Build on the date we set in Discover.
No. Without a sitemap from search intent and the enquiry path, design is decoration. Discover is short. Skipping it is how sites look finished and still fail to convert.
In Discover and Design, not after launch. Titles, headings, schema, and internal links are planned with the pages. Grow then measures and extends that work — it does not invent it.
Grow starts. We can stay on for maintenance, security, speed, content, and search. You also get a site you can hand to your team without a locked theme or a login nobody owns.
